What part of your Irish ancestry are you researching at the moment?

I have traced my Barry family in Kilmore, Wexford, back to mid 1600s which was a death recorded on a stone in Grange Churchyard.
I am now trying to get further back by looking at Land Records and hoping to find the Barry's as tenant farmers.

I will need to begin researching the Morrisseys from Kilkenny and Waterford.

Hi I am looking into Valentines from Wicklow (and likely from Ipswich before that and Holland prior to that. The is a gap around 1808 in the records and I have not been able to get the next generation (yet!!) This Thomas Valentine lived in East Wicklow but was buried in Kiltegan (West Wicklow) and had a brother James Valentine that had married a Hanbidge and lived in Rustyduff (Glen of Imaal), so it seems they came from that area.

Does anyone know are the Guinness estate records available anywhere? They were landowners in the Griffiths valuation records (these can be accessed online at http://www.failteromhat.com/griffiths.php

Coming from the other side there are several lines and I hope to eliminate them as I go along.
